It looks like his nose would be short doesnt it.  As a pup grows, the body changes. Looks like he is going to be a black and tan

6-1-17" is alot like his sister Anastasia. Bold, determined. Nothing much phases him. He didnt care for the giants but i bothered him so much that he accepts stuff now. a strong dog, will make a fine stud.
He does think he is the boss, following in his fathers footsteps it appears, but he will be a teddy bear.

6-15-17:  Since i was going to keep this boy, i dont have any updated photo's cause i dont have time to put my stuff up here... but it appears he is a black and tan and his nose is a lot like a german shepherds nose and i wanted a shorter muzzle.. So good news for you guys..

6-17-17: Not the top dog in this litter but the second top dog. Has a good male temperament and does not look at all like a female. very male ish...  Good muscle tone, long in body like the dire wolf. A nice SOLID pup all the way around.  Should make a great family companion dog.  Will be a good buddy and pal to everyone in the family. Absolulty no agression in this litter. If there is Irish Wolfhound in these pups, it is not seen at all in the temperament. These are Am Alsatians!  I am proud to put my name and my certificate on everyone in this litter.

Neuter all males as they begin to lift their legs or you can wait a bit after , or not at all. An intact male of this litter would be fine for almost anyone to handle, but newbies should neuter their males at around 8 or 9 months.]\

June 22, 2017:  Mature in demeanor, standoffish enough. Is familiar with me and comes to me. Inquisitive. Thinking about stuff and learning is deep set.  It does not take much for this pup to 'see things' and remember stuff. Highly intellegent in figuring out what is good for him or not.  Easily learns what is to his advantage. Soft enough to learn easy. NOT shy.. do not take his thinking for shy. He is not sound sensitive, but he does react to new sounds to figure out what it is as a puppy should be, but he is not fearful of anything. I am teaching them at this time to 'fear' me. I am teaching them deep sounds verses high pitched positive sounds.  I am also teaching them to leave me alone when i am standing up, and to come to me when i am sitting down.. i suggest you continue this.  He is not a fan of lap therapy but can and will be swayed by me with positive rewards for being in my lap. Easy... peesy for this guy to be molded.
I love his maturity, his attitude and his thinking ability. He is the type of pup i like to have for myself. Not too friendly but a stallion of a dog as he matures.. love this boy. People will fear him by his looks alone. if you like a more friendly dog you can do some positive socialization, but i wouldnt. He is great just the way he is..
All you have to do is mold him to your ways, your rules. show him all about life and how you wish him to be. I do not believe he will be a silly pup, but you might be able to make him be more unserious if you dont continue to develope him as he is. I like him just as he is. My kind of pup.
He is black and tan and his tails curls up over his back too much for breeding. His tail will not be curled as an adult, not to worry.. but i dont pick pups with tails this high.

A fantastic companion dog. I would not say a service dog for public because of his scary looks. people will fear him. He is an Easy lover, not an Overly loving dog.

6-28-17:  Still one of my favorites in personality. laid back and cautious enough not to get in the way. Learns the lesson as he is sesitive enough to not to the same thing over again Smart kid. Largest pup in the litter but short in coat.
