She is a big baby but will come around if you show her the world and chicken (She needs to be shown or trained about life). Like an elephant she never forgets a meany.
She Must be on leash at all times until she feels non threatened. She does NOT like other dogs in her face. She does NOT like fast unruly dogs, She doesn't even like the dogs at the kennel here. She tolerates them. She has never picked a fight. She is not a fighter. YOU need to protect her so she doesnt have to protect herself. She is the MATRIARCH here in the kennels. She leaves everyone alone and tells them to leave her alone. They all bow down to her and she NEVER causes any problems unless over a food dish. She chooses her one dish then stays there.
She only knows the farm and loves to go for rides for treats (meat) in the car. Loves chicken legs, thighs and Cornish hens. When not pg I feed her 3 cups of kibbles with shreaded chicken in the morning and 1/4 chicken at night. You must not allow her to get fat as she loves food.
She loves to sit in your lap on the floor or cuddle with you on a large pillow. She is cage trained for the xxx large crates. She heals on a leash and walks slow for me. Can be trained to help you get up. She is smart and is Velcro. EASY to love and trains for food. Being a large dog she might not live up to 13. May only make it to 11 yrs? Giant heavy dogs don't live as long as smaller dogs do.
I do not want her to be bred nor do i want her to be fixed. I don't want her under a knife (it is too risky for a large dog). She is the best dog in the world and deserves a retirement home with those that are soft and loving such as she is.
She will be sad to leave me but will come around if you feed her favorite foods and spoil her every second. It will probably take about 3 wks with you. After she bonds she will come when called and will stay beside you without a leash, but ............. NEVER take her to any other places without a leash on as she is UNPREDICTABLE and will not come if she feels threatened. Needs more training to rely on her master for protection. She never understood i was protection. She always feels she herself can fix things. She cant.

About This Litter:Temperaments: 8-10 EXTREAMILY loving and kind but on the leary side. Very SLOW TO MATURE. Very Protective of their dinner bowls against other animals, not humans. One or two might be bold pups. Not velcro. They will roam but not far. The thing about these pups is that they are BABIES for a long time. They are unsure of the world and will run and hide until it is safe or until you baby them and show them it is ok. They will be mature at about 2 or 3 in their emotions but until then they will be like autistic kids. Most of these pups will take on the Am Alsatian Temperaments and will do better as the German Shepherd comes out. Large protective males MUST BE NUETERED at 8 or 9 months or you can not have one. I do not know if we will have such a pup in this litter as the AA is doubled and therefore over powering the Mastiff and IW in the mom. |

Q-Leanna Notes:
4-8-18: WHITE FLOWER RIBBON. BRINDLE FEMALE. VERY BRINDLE. LARGE HEAD. MACHO BULLY as young pup. Wants tit/food. LARGE BONES. PINK NOSE 130-135 LBS Tan Eyebrows..
12-11-18: She has become a very indoor loving, cautious pup. She was bred or rather tied' with a male but it did not take. I think we used Capone. No matter, large dogs usually do not breed until they are in a second heat or even third. She is a loving, kind soul. She does not want to do anything wrong. Training her one must use a very soft loving way about them and food will always work! She sleeps in a large wire crate in the walk in closet in my bedroom and doesnt like to be without me, though she has been left in the room with a baby gate for hours alone. She does tear up blankets or takes the stuffing out of stuff, but once you tell her not to, she will not do it again if you are on top of it. All one has to do is pay attention and talk to her. There is no need to raise your voice much with these pups. They do NOT like confrontation and will go hide if they think you are mad or angry at them. Like elephants they do not forget.
She was the boldest and most loving pup of the litter.
12-20-19 Qleanna is still leary of all strangers. She loves food and will get up into the van if you throw in a chicken leg. She can eat up to 10 lbs of chicken in 15 min.
When strangers come to our place, she waits until they sit down and then she is the first one over, wagging her tail for love and pets. She LOVES to be hugged and talked to. She sits and lays her head in your lap.
At first when i go to see her, she jumps up in the air about 3 times, then wags her entire hind end and runs about 8 ft, then waits there. Thats it. I go into the kennel and sit down and she will come and hug me and stay as long as i am sitting there.
She asks to go inside because she likes to be in the house with me. She has the closet of my bedroom as her own space. It is filled with rugs and blankets, a large pot of water and some bones. She stays there all day. I take her outside and let her walk around for about 20 min, then she comes back inside to sleep and eat again. She goes out 4 times a day.
She doesnt like to be with the other dogs, though she likes them. They are too crazy for her. She doesnt like hyperness, nor does she like to be confronted by other dogs. She likes humans best. She will tolerate one dog at a time for about 20 min. She does not play with them.
She is ok walking around the stores and shops as she is not a crazy dog. She walks right beside me as a mobility dog. It is very easy for her to wait and support me. She will NOT go down stairs or on an esculator.
