Buck  x  Q-Leanna

Bred on Dec. 10 2018
Should Whelp Feb 2019

About This Litter:

The Look: Buck is a perfect Dire Wolf with a large head. Large heads being recessive, this breeding will solidify the large head i am looking for in my dogs. How Buck got the look of the dire wolf that i imagine, surprises me. I do not expect it to reproduce from him. Reason being 'Bellatrix and Merlin lines are gsd for the most part and the gsd bones and look are extreamily dominate. This is the reason i have bred Q-Leanna to Buck, to be sure the pups do not come out with thin bodies and long thin legs. I need a Stud or Matron to keep for life that will continue to throw the thickness in ALL its pups as well as the large heads. I think a pup out of this breeding will do that.
We have the Saigon genes in the bitch that will continue the large bones and the AA inbreeding of the Fin lines as her sire. So this should be a very good match up. Who cares about the ears when i have so many other things to 'set' in the lines.. Ears are easy peasy...
Feet: will be too small for my taste.
Ears: drop
Eyes: light
Tails: I shall keep the shortest tail. Some tails will be too long for my liking but not long in the longrun, lol..

Temperament: Q-Leanna has the perfect temperament. Buck is also a sweet dog, but could be a stallion and a fighter if not neutered. Buck is not as loving to 'other' male dogs as Capone is and is not as mean as Topper is (with other males and being un neutered). Both have the standoffishness that i like but the friendly pups might come out in this litter.  Some might be too independent and not velcro enough. We shall see.

Coat: I am hoping to keep this dire wolf looking coat with just the right texture though Buck's coat could be harsher.
Colors: All Sables of different shades. White spotting on chests. Black muzzles and  points. Dark skin for the most part. All pups should lighten up as they mature. Brindles will not look brindle when mature as the long coat will make them appear dire wolfish.

Notes on Q-Leanna:

4-2-17:  Birth notes.  Thought to be a male. White on chest. Black pup. Pinkish nose. small white on chin. nice body. Long coat? Long muzzle. Long neck. Long body. Stands up on rear legs to find teats.

5-16-18:  This pup got lost in the shuffle, though i always saw this pup and gave the pup extra nutrients and special foods, I had put a small red/white/blue collar on this pup and as RED is usually set for a male, i continued to think she was a male. I could not figure out, why i had an extra male in the litter. When doing my research on the females (which i do last), i found one missing. This is when i looked at the red/white/blue collar and to my surprise found the missing female pup. lol... She is still the same pup, a nice, gentle pup that was pushed out of the milk line up because she is not pushy. She did have to get more aggressive to be asure to have milk, but she is in her heart a very loving kind easy going pup.She would rather be with me or in my lap than to be around those other 'pups' for she is NOT a dog!
