8-21-18: Last pup out. Possible Boss pup? Will wait and see. Black silver sable. White chest, large amount on ribs going down to belly. Large pup. Pink nose. silver head. Fat tail. White left front foot. field goul post of white on chest. Giant?
8-22-18 Red nose still. large butt. healthy, finds food easily. Pushy at this age. This pup is thinking already. When i put the pup in my hands, he pushed his face into me and stopped. Thought, then pulled away. Moved his head and pushed forward again. Came into contact with my blouse. Smelled it as he thought about it. Pulled back his head a bit and stood still. I gently rubbed my forfinger on his cheek. He moved his head just a bit on the touch, and then was still as he 'liked' the touch. The vibs off this pup says he is connecting with me. I was very surprised as i did not expect such a large 'rainier type pup' to be so alert and having a brain. I can tell instinctual puppy behavior and thought.. Been doing this a long time.
8-29-18: Pick of the litter. This pup is my pick, the one i would love to keep, but I will go ahead and put him up for sale to anyone that wants a great male Dire Wolf looking pup with the Am Alsatian Temperament. Not only did we get brawn but we got brains.
With this breeding together of the old AA stock and the IW pushed into the background, we bring back up, the gsd qualities with the super health! This pup should get about 135-140 lbs. He will love children if socialized or raised with kids. As all Am Alsatians, he will be a bit standoffish. He will not care to 'play around' and should be a mature pup as i like my dogs. As an Autisitc, this dog will be intuitive and will develop such if his owner pays attention. Teach and educate this pup and plan to have everyone stop you when walking in public. Though he will be beautiful and strong and well put together, his best feature is his brain and his temperament. A truly magnificant beast. Not a stallion of a dog, more of a clownish, funny loving and devoted pup.
Largest pup in photo. Girthy. Bottom center
9-18-18: LaForge is an easy going pup that loves everyone. He does not want to work. He wants to be free and play and be lazy. With this in mind, train him accordingly. At this time he has a short attention span, but he learns what he doesnt like and what he enjoys.. He loves food. Easy to train with food. give the pup what he wants for doing what you want. He may be slow at it so have patience.
This pup can have a family with other dogs, cats, rabbits, he doesnt care. He will NEED his sleep so make a place for him to be by himself to get away from everything and sleep. He is a baby that thinks he is top dog. He is willing not to be top dog. Riker knows he is top dog, that is the difference. Riker wants that title and will try to keep it. This pup doesnt care. You can neuter this pup a bit later than 9 months if you want.
This pup will thrive with a regular schedule and he will look forward to it. a schedule will help him. He loves everyone and will be a social lite and the hit of the party. He will not like zippy dogs... with too much energy. He can be a thinker and most of my dogs are thinkers more than the pups you have known. But in this litter, Laforge doesnt need to think much, he is just a big baby at this time. He is happy learning and seeing and smelling things. kind of independent on his own. I will allow that for now as he needs to be so he can learn the world.
If he were my dog, i would start training him early to like being with me, so lap thereapy comes first. He might not want to be told what to do. If you pet him slowly and mellow him out, he will fall asleep easy enough.
